Constance Moofushi Maldives
General Seaplane Operations:
Transfer via seaplane is provided by a third party and is operated exclusively during daylight hours only.
Arrival procedures:
The resort must receive full flight details at least 4 days before guest arrival to guarantee the seaplane seats. Failure to do so may result in additional waiting time in the Constance Lounge otherwise there will be an overnight stay in Malé at the clients’ additional cost.
All guests have access to the Constance Lounge located at the Trans Maldivian Airways Terminal on arrival.
The last seaplane transfer will leave Malé at 16hrs00. Guests arriving in Malé on an international flight after 15hrs30 (Malé Time) will not be transferred to the resort on the same day and will require overnight accommodation in Malé at their own expense. Please note that return transfer on Malé (airport/hotel/airport) will be at the guest's own expense. They will be transferred to Constance Moofushi Maldives the following morning.
Guests staying in another resort before coming to Constance Moofushi Maldives should inform the hotel of the time the hotel should organise the seaplane transfer from Male, at least 4 days before arrival."
Departure procedures:
International Flights between 09hrs15 and 18hrs15
Departure seaplane from Constance Moofushi to the Male Airport is arranged three hours in advance for clients with international flights during the day. This time frame is designed to provide clients with the best connection and ample time to check in for their international flights which is at least 3 hours before departure of international flight.
International Flights after 18hrs15
For clients with international flights in the night, the last seaplane from the resort operates between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm, subject to weather conditions.
If the check-in for the international flight is open by the time the guest reaches the airport, guests will be promptly moved to the check-in area for a seamless process. If the check-in for the international flight is not open, guests have exclusive access to the Constance Lounge.
Guests departing Malé on an international flight before 08hrs50 will be transferred late the previous afternoon and will require overnight accommodation in Malé at their own expense.
Luggage:-
The baggage allowance is 20 kg and 5kg hand luggage per person.
Excess baggage is chargeable and must be paid directly to Trans Maldivian Airways at US $ 5.00 + GST 16% per 1 kg or as per current Trans Maldivian Airways rates.
Single luggage of 30 kg or more in weight will not be accepted as per International standards.
Cancellation policy:-
-Cancellations received 1 day or more before arrival will not be charged any cancellation fee.
-No-shows and same-day cancellations will result in a one-way seaplane cost being charged as a cancellation fee.
Constance Moofushi Maldives will not be held responsible for the varied waiting times or bad weather that may occur.
Trans Maldivian Airways is an independent operator, which provides the resort with seaplane schedules in the evening before arrivals and departures.
As such, all schedule timings are solely at the discretion of the Management of Trans Maldivian Airways.
