Here's everything you need to know about Mauritius reopening.
Opening in phases:
Closed for almost two years, Mauritius is opening in phases. The first opening will be on the 15th of July until the 30th of September and as of October, it will be fully open.
Pre-Approved hotels:
After thorough checks and strict sanitary guidelines, the Government and the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority released the list of ‘pre-approved hotels’.
What does this mean?
Being on the pre-approved hotel list indicates as well as certifies that a particular accommodation has been certified COVID-19 safe.
Both Constance Belle Mare Plage and Constance Prince Maurice are on the list of pre-approved hotels in Mauritius and are ready to welcome all vaccinated international guests from the 15th of July.
Hotel stays and island exploration:
From the 15th of July – 30th of September – Vaccinated Guests
-Fully vaccinated travellers can enjoy a hotel holiday in paradise.
-Use the hotel facilities and relax on the beach.
-You will have a PCR test on your day of arrival, day 7, and day 14.
-After a negative PCR test on day 14, you are free to go and explore the island.

As from October inwards - Vaccinated Guests
-Full opening of the island.
-Fully vaccinated travellers will be allowed entry subject to a negative PCR test 72 hours prior to boarding.
-Relax on the island and explore attractions throughout your holiday.
-You must present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure to be allowed entry to the island.
