Mauritian flavours in the French Riviera
Michael Scioli, Executive Chef at Constance Prince Maurice together with Head Chef Kritesh Halkory, who was also the proud winner of 2016 Festival Culinaire Bernard Loiseau was part of the Mauritian delegation at the Luxury Gastronomy and Golf Week organised on the Côte d’Azur, recently.
They delighted the palates of the finest gastronomes at the Chèvre d'Or restaurant at Cap Estel in Eze by using local products such as the heart of palm, tamarind, and cassava.
Their interpretation of the Mauritian classics not only charmed the guests at the Hermitage Hotel in Monaco but took them on an incomparable culinary journey.
"We are very proud to be able to bring the flavours of Mauritius and the wealth of our regional produce to another country. Guests are always impressed by the culinary diversity of our small island, as well as the quality and professionalism of the chefs who work there"- Chef Michael Scioli
