Agreement to official rules

By participating in the #ConstanceWithU Instagram video competition by Constance Hotels & Resorts, the participant agrees to the Terms and Conditions of same.

Constance Hotels & Resorts reserves the rights to request written proof of the winner’s address and age before awarding the prize. Participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time they participate in the #ConstanceWithU Instagram video competition.

Constance Hotels & Resorts have the right to reject any entry that does not meet the laid Terms and Conditions.

Constance Hotels & Resorts accepts no responsibility for damage or loss resulting from misdirected or incomplete entries arising from computer malfunction, viruses, mobile phones, bugs, video malfunction or other such causes. Constance Hotels & Resorts have no responsibility for any malfunction, delay, loss or damage caused by Instagram, its malfunction, or the actions of its administrators.

All decisions made by Constance Hotels & Resorts regarding #ConstanceWithU Instagram video competition shall be considered final and will not be the subject of any correspondence.

How to enter

  • To enter the competition, the participant must be a fan of Constance Hotels & Resorts - he/she should follow the Instagram account.
  • The participant must post a short video of how he/she will spend his/her holiday at his favourite Constance Hotels & Resorts.

About the Video

  • Video posted must include, #ConstanceWithU, #StayHome, #TrueIndianOcean and tag @ConstanceHotels
  • The participant is free to choose any Instagram supported videos such as:
    Time-lapse, Stop-motion,  Animated Text & Graphical Video, Handheld Selfie Video, Short Clips from Longer Videos, meme-style video and even Boomerang.
  • The video must be a minimum of 3 seconds long and can go up to a minute in length.
  • Insta stories will not be counted as video submitted for the competition.
  • Very Important: Make sure your video is not showing too much 'skin' - please abide by the rules of Instagram if you do not want your video to be taken down by Instagram!

Important Video Guidelines

  • The video must support the 'Stay Home' rule thus, 80% of the video must be created at participant's home.
  • Creativity!
  • The video must reflect what the brand is known and loved for (Food & wine, blissful spa treatments, warmth & smiles...)
  • Participation is only possible via Instagram. Only one entry per person will be accepted.

By participating in the #ConstanceWithU Instagram video competition by Constance Hotels & Resorts, participant authorise Constance Hotels & Resorts to publically announce his/her name on its digital platforms, namely Facebook, Instagram, Website, Newsletter and Blog.

 

This competition is valid from the 21st of April 2020 at 23:59 UTC+4 till the 11th of May 2020 at 23:59 UTC+4.

Rights granted by you

By entering this Competition, you agree that:

Constance Hotels & Resorts has the right to use all or a part of your entry, your name and address (city and state/province/territory anywhere in the world and in perpetuity) for future advertising, trade, promotion and publicity in any manner and in any medium now known or hereafter devised throughout the world in perpetuity, without compensation and without notice to you and without consideration, review or approval from you; and you agree that you will not now nor in the future be paid for your Entry or for granting any of the rights set out in these rules.

The prize/Selecting the Winner

  • The Winning video must reflect the guidelines shared in the part Important Video Guidelines
  • 10 best videos will be chosen - out of which the winning video will be picked.
  • The winner will receive a complimentary 7 night stay for two on Full Board basis at one of Constance Hotels & Resorts of his/her choice.
  • Local airport transfer included (To and from the Constance hotel or resort chosen only)

Constance Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to provide substitute prizes of similar value, should the specified prizes become unavailable for reasons beyond its control.

The 7 nights’ complimentary hotel stay will remain subject to hotel availability & terms and conditions.

The participant is informed, acknowledges and accepts that the following are not included in the prize and shall be borne by him/her:

  • Flight expenses
  • Any additional charges not included in the Full Board Package.
  • Any damage made at the hotel.

Announcing the winner

The winner will be subsequently notified by Constance Hotels & Resorts via Instagram direct message.
Failure to respond within 48 hours, another winner will be chosen through a second round of the lucky draw.

Winner will be announced on the 15th of May 2020 on Constance Hotels & Resorts’ Instagram account.

The prize cannot be exchanged or sold in any manner for any other goods or services whatsoever, is non-refundable for cash either in part or in whole.

In the absence of a response within the aforementioned period (48 hours), the winner shall be considered to have forfeited the prize. Another winner will be picked through a second round of the lucky draw.

The winner will have one year as from the official announcement to redeem the prize. Otherwise, the prize will be voided.
Conscious of the global pandemic and confinement protocol in certain countries, the prize redemption date will start on the day the confinement is lifted in the winner’s country.

 

Exclusions

This competition is not open to Constance Hotels, Resorts & Golf employees. Constance Hotels & Resorts reserve the right to disqualify entries that are suspected to be fraudulent. No third party or bulk entries are permitted and will be disqualified.

Participation in the #ConstanceWithU Instagram video competition is voluntary. By entering, all participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any associated entry requirements. Any breach of these terms and conditions by a participant will void his/her entry.

Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry. Constance Hotels & Resorts accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.

By entering the competition, the participant agrees to receive marketing information about Constance Hotels & Resorts’ services.
